RE:Tesla is now selling 60 (kWh) and 60D models starting at $66K

<t>Wow - so for about the same price as the original S60, you end up with a ton more:
-all wheel drive
-supercharging included
-better warranty
-10 miles more of EV range
-better acceleration
-auto parking and blind spot warnings
-center console
-new styling<b...

RE:Mercedes announces Fuel Cell?!

I've been saying this for a long time - refueling at a hard to find or far away hydrogen station is a lot less painful if it only needs to happen once every month or two!

RE:Could 40 foot sliding doors on Apple Store be for Apple EV?

Maybe it's news on this forum, but don't you know the Apple Car is actually an RV? It's 40ft wide and at least that long.... as long as they don't use falcon doors so that I can put my roof rack on it!

RE:Chevy confirms Spark production will end with Bolt EV

<t>Sure they've cancelled production, but the Spark was never really available to the market anyways.... it will only leave a hole in the EV market in the compliance states (and Canada IIRC)

Plus, there's still the I-MiEV and Smart ED.

I think it would make more sense to have a...

RE:Industry analysts have strong Model 3 launch date comments

Correct me if I'm wrong, but shouldn't suppliers love this sort of business? We need a ton of X parts, and we need them in the next 2 years..... good business should say "Done!"

Re: Tesla chooses Hancoock as main supplier for Model 3 (video)

These are cool, but I don't think they are ready to be put onto production vehicles.
Plus I don't know what the rolling resistance would be like.... one advantage is that low tire pressure would never affect EV range again!

Re: Tesla hiring spree

This is no different than the Ford Model T ramp up that happened in early 1900-era technology.

There's nothing inherent about this one aspect of Tesla that would need to halt them in their tracks - there's the possibility, but Tesla has overcome obstacles before.

Google will use the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica Plug-in Hybrid for self-driving project

Google (now called Alphabet) is expanding it's self driving car program and will be using the Chrysler Pacifica PHEV minivan, and Fiat Chrysler engineers will work with Google to install the autonomous technology. http://insideevs.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/google-self-driving-car-2-350x234.jpg ...
